Registered Dietitians
Registered Dietitians are credible and trusted sources for nutrition information, using their knowledge and skills in food and nutrition to promote good health. Dietitians must be registered with Provincial Regulatory Bodies and are the only professionals who can use the titles “Registered Dietitian”, “Professional Dietitian” and “Dietitian”, which are protected by law. Food Allergies
For those with food allergies, sensitivities or intolerances, avoiding specific foods and ingredients is an important health challenge. On February 16, 2011 Health Canada published amendments to the food allergen labelling regulations.
